Laxmi Bank expands with 2 new branches and extension counter; takes banking services to diverse population with 140 branches so far

Laxmi Bank has inaugurated its 139^th and 140^th branches in Inaruwa and Urlabari on December 7 and 8 respectively. Its 139^th branch is located in Shanti Chowk, Inaruwa – 1 of Sunsari district whereas the 140^th branch is located in Urlabari Chowk, Urlabari -5 of Morang district. In addition to these branches, the bank also inaugurated its 9^th extension counter in Sepukhola of Barekot Rural Municipality – 8 of Jajarkot District. These branches will offer a full range of retail banking services to their customers and expand their services to small and large businesses.

With the above new addition, Laxmi Bank network now includes 140 branches across 50 districts, 5 hospital service counters, 9 extension counters, 170 ATMs, 2,500 remittance agents, and 63 branchless banking agents spread across the country. The Bank is rapidly expanding to newer and underserved markets with the aim of servicing the growing demand for professional financial services such as innovative saving accounts, term deposits, home and auto loans, small business loans, microfinance, etc.
