Last trading day to clinch dividend of Gurans Life Insurance and NIC Asia Laghubitta

Today is the last trading day in NEPSE to grab dividends of Gurans Life Insurance Company Limited (GLICL) and NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NICLBSL).

Gurans Life Insurance Company Limited (GLICL) has called its 11th AGM on Mangsir 10, i.e. November 26. The meeting will be held in the company's central office in Tinkune, Kathmandu, starting at 11 am that day.

Kartik 23 is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend this AGM.

Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse the dividend for the fiscal year 2075/76. The 173rd meeting of the board of directors held on 2078-04-24 has proposed 5.5004174% bonus shares and 0.28949566% cash dividend for the fiscal year. This will be distributed on the paid-up capital of Rs. 1,97,85,84,600.

Similarly, NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has called its 4th AGM on 5th Mangsir, 2078. The meeting will be held in Dharan Banquet and Event Management, Sunsari, starting at 9 am that day.

Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 5.41% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The meeting of the board of directors held on Ashoj 18 decided to distribute the entirety of the dividend in cash. Since the paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 1,73,94,40,000, the cash dividend is worth a little over Rs. 9.41 crores.

Furthermore, 4 promoters and 2 ordinary shareholders will be elected to the BOD.
