Last trading day to clinch 28% dividend of Butwal Power Company; book closure on Poush 9

Today is the last trading day in NEPSE to clinch dividend of Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL). The company’s 27th AGM will be held on 24^th Poush, 2076, from 11:00 AM at Karki Banquet, Babarmahal. The books of the company will remain closed from 9^th Poush to 24^th Poush, 2076, i.e. shareholder holding shares of BPCL till 8^th Poush will be eligible to attend the AGM of the company and entitled for dividend.

The BOD meeting of the Butwal Power Company Limited held on 22nd Mangsir, proposed 10% bonus shares and 18% cash dividend for the shareholders. However, this decision is subject to approval form the upcoming AGM of the company. 

After the adjustment of 10% bonus shares, the paid up capital of the company will reach Rs.2.68 Arba. Last year also BPCL has distributed 28% dividend including 10% bonus shares.

The LTP as of 24^th December, 2019 stands at Rs 355 per share.
