Last day of trading on NEPSE before Dashain vacation; Trading to resume on Kartik 08

Today is the last day of trading before NEPSE closes for Dashain vacation. The next trading day is scheduled to start at noon on Sunday Kartik 08, 2072. Yesterday, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 14.64 points or 1.29% to close at 1119.83 level.The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 28.35 crore where more than 4 lakhs unit shares were traded through 1,296 transactions. The scrips of Everest Bank had hit circuit which was  down by Rs 307 to close at Rs 2772.
