Kumari Bank inks MoU with Upaya City Cargo; aims to digitize cash based transaction among the business fraternity of carrier service

Kumari Bank has inked an agreement with Upaya City Cargo to digitize the cash transactions of the later.

The agreement was signed amid a program that was attended by chairman of the bank Mr. Amir Pratap JB Rana, chairman of Upaya City Cargo Mr. Suman Rayamajhi, Mr. Biswas Dhakal of F1 Soft, Nepal Representative Mr. Baljit Bohora, as per the statement.

After the agreement, the bank will provide necessary training support to pick-up driver partners of the company regarding the uses of QR code based and other digital modes of accepting payment so as to digitize the now informal carrier service, as per the media statement. the bank will offer free insurance, and affordable credit facility to the associated pick-up drivers, as per the media statement.

The bank currently has 192 branches, 165 ATM outlets, 26 branchless banking and 13 extension counters under its network.
