Kumari Bank initiates QR code-based payment at  Shantinagar Agro Market in Kathmandu; shoppers in Pashupati Agro Mart can now make easy digital payment for their purchases

Kumari Bank has initiated QR code-based payment system at Pashupati Agro Mart at Shantinagar in Kathmandu where shoppers can now simply scan the QR code of the bank using their MoBanking service to pay for their purchases of agro products.

After the new arrangement, the agro market has started accepting QR code-based payment for its products right to the bank account via MoBanking and Fonepay service, as per the media statement.

Chairman of Kumari Bank Mr. Amir Pratap JB Rana, chairman of the mart Mr. Raju Kumar Khattri, and CEO of the bank Mr. Surendra Bhandari have jointly kickstarted the new service at the agro market amid a program, as per the media statement.

The bank currently serves its customers via its 193 branches, 165 ATM outlets, 25 branchless banking unit, and 13 extension counters in its network.
