Kumari Bank becomes first Nepali institution to be awarded from Finacle InfoSys; receives Accelerated Transformation Award at the InfoSys Finacle Client Innovation Awards 2019

Kumari Bank Limited has been awarded with International recognition: the “Accelerated Transformation Award” at the InfoSys Finacle Client Innovation Awards 2019. Kumari Bank is the first ever Nepali Bank to receive the said-award by Finacle InfoSys. The said-award has recognized the competence and potential of the comprehensive Nepali Banking Industry.

The Finacle Client Innovation Award is a global platform of recognition given to Banks delivering breakthrough innovations in banking products, customer service, process design and distribution channels via capitalization on Finacle solutions.

With over 250 nominations received over 8 categories, Kumari Bank Limited has successfully bagged the winning title for core banking modernization in the “Accelerated Transformation” category this year. With this, Kumari Bank has set up a historical record for successful migration of CBS Finacle Version 10.2.19 in the shortest recorded time of 4.5 months. Similarly, in the same category, Punjab National Bank has also bagged the award for its agile core transformation. Likewise, ICICI bank, Andhra Bank and Emirates NDB (UAE) were among the runner-ups within the category.
