Koshi Province Deploys Medical Teams to Monsoon-Affected Districts

The Koshi Province government has begun mobilizing medical teams from today to strengthen health services in districts hit by recent monsoon disasters.

According to Dr. Kenin Rai, Information Officer at the Provincial Ministry of Health and Population, the initiative involves teams comprising doctors and representatives from the Ministry, Health Directorate, and Department of Supply Management.

Three separate teams have been dispatched to Ilam, Panchthar, Morang, Sunsari, and Udayapur districts. They will focus on raising public awareness about preventing epidemics and infectious diseases, assessing the health situation of affected communities, and providing necessary medical support.
