Kishan Lal Dugar Receives 'Jain Samaj Ratna' Award in Mumbai

Kishan Lal Dugar, Chairman of the KL Dugar Group and philanthropist, received the prestigious 'Jain Samaj Ratna' award from Bharat Jain Mahamandal on September 22, 2024, in Mumbai, India.

The award was presented by the Honorable Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Om Birla, making Dugar the first and only Nepali to receive this honor.

The ceremony was attended by notable figures, including Chief Justice Dhananjaya Chandrachud.

The 'Jain Samaj Ratna' award recognizes individuals dedicated to societal upliftment, particularly in social service within the Jain community. Bharat Jain Mahamandal, founded in 1899, aims to unite the Jain community for societal service.
