Kiran Kumar Shrestha Retires as CEO of Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited

Kiran Kumar Shrestha, the Chief Executive Officer of Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited, has retired from his position after completing an 8-year tenure.

Initially appointed through an open competition on 29th Chaitra 2072, he was re-appointed for a second term on Chaitra 29, 2076. Devendra Raman Khanal, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, will assume the role of acting CEO from 29th Chaitra, 2080.

Shrestha was honored in a farewell ceremony where his contributions to strengthening the bank in the competitive banking market were acknowledged, and gratitude was expressed towards him. Shrestha, in turn, expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders for their support during his tenure.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief Executive Officers, Deputy Executive Officers, trade union presidents and officials, department heads, regional managers, and other employees.
