Khanal appointed finance advisor to PM
KATHMANDU:
A cabinet meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has appointed former finance secretary Rameshwore Khanal as an honorary finance advisor to Dr Baburam Bhattarai on Sunday.
Khanal had resigned from his post after the disagreement with the then finance minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari in the Jhalanath Khanal-led government. He also served as the finance secretary with Dr Bhattarai was finance minister in the UCPN-Maoist government in 2009.
