Kantipur City College Launches B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence to Empower Nepal’s Digital Future

Kantipur City College (KCC), affiliated with Purbanchal University, has introduced a Bachelor of Technology in Artificial Intelligence (B.Tech. in AI) to meet Nepal’s growing educational and technological needs. The undergraduate program equips students with in-depth knowledge, research skills, and practical expertise in AI, covering areas like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, NLP, Computer Vision, Robotics, and AI applications in agriculture, healthcare, and fintech. The curriculum emphasizes project-based learning, laboratory practice, industry collaboration, and participation in international conferences.

The program aims to develop skilled human resources for Nepal’s digital economy, promote AI-driven innovations, support entrepreneurship, and reduce the need for students to study abroad. KCC organized an interaction program with Prof. Dr. Moinul Islam Zaber from the University of Dhaka to discuss academic scope, research prospects, and the future of AI in Nepal. Admissions are open for the academic session 2025 for +2 Science or equivalent students via entrance.puexam.edu.np. With a history of producing over 10,000 skilled graduates, KCC continues to prepare students for emerging technologies through this program.
