Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Support Shoe Menders with Service Booth Center

Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL), in collaboration with Kathmandu Metropolitan Ward No. 3, has fulfilled its social responsibility program by constructing a service booth center for shoe menders in Rani Bari chowk, Ward No. 3, Kathmandu. The aim is to provide a structured and organized space for shoe menders who previously worked in an unorganized manner.
The inauguration of the booth was led by Mrs. Sita Thapa, a ward member of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 3. During the opening ceremony, Thapa expressed gratitude for the bank's support in organizing the shoe polishing and repair profession, which was previously disorganized. The booth was handed over to Mr. Upendra Das, a shoe mender located in Rani Bari. According to the bank, the purpose of such work under its social responsibility program is to provide an organized place to shoe menders and help them earn their livelihood.
