Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Proposes First Dividend of FY 2082/83, Announces 15% Cash Dividend

Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) has become the first bank to announce a dividend for FY 2082/83. The bank has proposed a 9% dividend for preference shareholders and a 15% cash dividend, including tax, for ordinary shareholders from its accumulated profits.

The dividend will be distributed after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the bank’s 20th Annual General Meeting. Last year, the bank had distributed a total dividend of 15.7895%, comprising bonus shares and cash dividend.

The proposal was approved by the bank’s 419th Board of Directors meeting held on Friday, Shrawan 22, 2083, according to CEO Dinesh Thakali.
