Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Extends Research Grant Deadline for MPhil and Postgraduate Students
Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) has extended the deadline for its research grant for MPhil and postgraduate students until the end of Chaitra, 2082, in response to requests from universities and students. The grant supports research in Economics, Management, and Computer Science/IT.
Eligible applicants must be enrolled in recognized postgraduate (Master's) or MPhil programs in Management or Economics. The grant provides NPR 100,000 each to two MPhil research students in banking and economics, and NPR 50,000 each to four postgraduate students in management, economics, and computer science/IT for research in relevant fields.
Applications, along with college recommendations, must be submitted to the bank by April 13, 2026. A selection committee, including subject experts, will choose recipients based on original, evidence-based, and credible research with national or international relevance.
The initiative, aligned with institutional social responsibility practices promoted by Nepal Rastra Bank, aims to support MPhil and postgraduate students in conducting meaningful research. More information is available at the KSBBL website.
