Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Conducts Financial Literacy Programs for Global Money Week 2026
On the occasion of Global Money Week 2026, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited organized a series of financial literacy programs across Nepal. The annual campaign, coordinated by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, was observed from March 17 to March 23.
As part of the initiative, the bank conducted awareness classes in schools nationwide and disseminated educational content through social media. More than 1,000 students directly benefited from the programs held across all seven provinces.

The sessions focused on key financial topics such as the importance of saving, capital formation through small savings, personal budgeting, expense management, and the opportunities and risks of digital transactions.
Additionally, the bank launched a special awareness campaign on OTP security in response to rising cases of digital fraud, sharing multilingual video content to reach diverse communities. It also promoted responsible financial habits, including saving for emergencies, investment planning, and safe online transactions.
The bank successfully concluded the week with awareness rallies and various outreach activities, reinforcing financial literacy and security among the public.
