Kailash Bikas Bank signs agreement with CDSCL; 51 companies on board the CDS

CDS and Clearing Ltd (CDSCL) and Kailash Bikas Bank Ltd have signed an agreement for dematerialization of the shares of the bank.

Kailash Bikas Bank’s CEO Krishna Raj Lamichhane and CDSCL’s CEO Subodh Raj Sigdel signed an agreement on Tuesday in behalf of their respective companies.

Following the agreement, shareholders of Kailash Bikas Bank can open their beneficial account from any of the depository participants for the trading of their shares in dematerialized form.

With Kailash Bikas Bank on board the CDS, the number of listed companies registered with the CDSCL has reached 51. Likewise, 66 other companies are in the pipeline for admission of securities.
