Jyoti Capital Limited Appoints New Independent Directors

The 48th meeting of the Board of Directors of Jyoti Capital Limited appointed Prof. Dr. Dhruba Kumar Gautam and C.A. Mandeep Bashistha as independent directors.

Prof. Dr. Gautam, a professor at Tribhuvan University's Management Central Department, has a background in Strategic Management and Management and Public Administration. He has extensive international teaching and research experience.

Bashistha, a Chartered Accountant with a Diploma in IFRS, has worked as a consultant and expert in growth financing for SMEs with organizations like the Swiss Embassy and USAID.

The new directors were sworn in by Mr. Prakash Baral, Chairman of Capital. Their extensive experience and managerial skills are expected to significantly contribute to the expansion of Jyoti Capital's business and enhance its services.

Jyoti Capital, a subsidiary of Jyoti Bikas Bank with a paid-up capital of 21 crores, is licensed to operate as a merchant banker in Nepal, offering services like investment management, institutional consulting, and securities brokerage.
