Jyoti Bikash Bank Partners with NCHL to Launch NEPALPAY Domestic Card Services

Jyoti Bikash Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) to become a principal member of the National Card Switch and Domestic Card Scheme (NEPALPAY Card). This partnership allows the bank to issue and acquire NEPALPAY Cards after the commercial rollout.

The initiative aims to enhance domestic card transaction interoperability, reduce reliance on international card schemes, and support digital innovation in Nepal’s payment ecosystem. NCHL is onboarding BFIs into the NEPALPAY network to expand its national card infrastructure.
