Jyoti Bikash Bank (JBBL) Declares Book Closure and AGM; Agenda to Endorse Dividend and Approve Share Conversion

Jyoti Bikash Bank Limited (JBBL) has called its 13th AGM on Magh 14, i.e. January 27. The meeting will be organized in Tribhuwan Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu, starting from 11 am that day.

Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse the dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. The bank has proposed a 10 % dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. The 377th meeting of the board of directors held on Poush 02 has decided to distribute 10% bonus shares from the paid-up capital. The bonus shares are worth Rs. 35,95,29,344.

Furthermore, 2 board members representing the public investors and 3 representing the promoters will be elected. Additionally, this AGM will also provide approval for the conversion of promoter shareholding from the existing 54.35% to 51%.

The book closure date is announced on Poush 29. Thus, investors maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend the AGM. Books will be closed from Poush 29 to Magh 14.
