Jyoti Bikas Bank launches Jyoti Sambriddhi saving account with Rs 100 as opening balance in line with government policies; to provide 7% interest to depositors

Following the instructions of the central bank and the campaign of the federal government to bring all the citizens of Nepal under banking access in the new year, Jyoti Bikas Bank is offering “Jyoti Sambriddhi” saving account. As per the decision of the government, the bank will provide Rs 100 as the opening balance for all the eligible bank account holders under this scheme. Likewise, the bank will also provide 7% interest for the deposit amount including other banking facilities, as per the media statement.

The bank currently has 96 branches, 2 extension counters and 23 ATM outlets all around the nation.
