Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Maeda Toru paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal on Monday.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides exchanged views on further strengthening Nepal-Japan relations by enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest, according to the ministry.
Discussions focused on promoting bilateral ties and expanding collaboration between Nepal and Japan in various sectors.
