Janata Bank fulfilling social responsibility towards people with disability; provides support of 10 lakh to central deaf campus to ensure quality education of 104 deaf students

Janata Bank, under its CSR initiative, has provided financial support of Rs 10 lakh to Central Deaf College of Nakshal. The support amount was handed over by CEO of the bank Mr. Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri to head of campus management Dr. Prabha Hamal amid a program.

The bank has been providing regular financial support to the deaf college that aims to impart quality university level education to students who are deaf. The community managed campus currently educates 104 deaf students, as per the media statement.
