Janata Bank expands massively; brings 6 branches into operation on a single day

Janata Bank has brought into operation 6 more branches on a single day on Jestha 29, 2076. The bank extended its services at Nayathimi Bhaktapur, Patan Sundhara, and Kirtipur of Kathmandu while at Fidim of Panchthar, Manthali of Ramechap and Dumre of Tanahun.

The Manthali branch was jointly inaugurated by mayor of Manthali Nagarpalika Mr. Ramesh Kumar Basnet, Chairman of the bank Mr. Keshav Bahadur Rayamajhi and its CEO Mr. Parshuram Kunwor Chettri amid a program.

The Fidim branch was inaugurated by Mayor of Fidim Nagarpalika Mr. Onahang Nemwang, Dumre branch by chair of Bandipur Gaupalika Mr. Purna Singh Thapa, Patan Sundhara branch by bank’s BoD Mr. Ram Bahadur Bhandari, Thimi branch by BoD Mr. Sanjib Neupane and Kritipur branch by Deputy CEO Mr. Sujit Kumar Shakya.

Likewise, the bank at its Dumre branch has conducted a free health camp where more than 200 locals of Dumre and Bandipur received range of health check up services and free medicines, as per the media statement.

The bank currently has 135 branches, 50 branchless banking units, 1 limited banking unit, 3 extension counters and 103 ATM terminals under its network.
