Janata Bank commits towards improving the quality of education in Nepal; Bank to provide Rs 5 lakh annually to support the placement of TFN fellow teachers in under-resourced rural schools

Janata Bank Nepal has agreed to provide financial assistance to Teach For Nepal with its commitment to improve the quality of education and end education inequity in Nepal.
 
The agreement regarding the same was signed between Deputy CEO of the bank Mr. Ajaya Kumar Mishra and CEO of TFN Mr. Sisir Khanal amid a program.
 
Under the agreement, the commercial bank will now provide Rs 5 lakh to TFN every year which would be utilized to send more fellow teachers to the rural community schools in Nepal which are under-resourced from different dimensions.
