ShareSansar, April 5:

Janata Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Rameshraj Bhattarai has resigned from his post in less than two years of his appointment. The bank’s board approved his resignation on Friday.

Although Mr Bhattarai was appointed for a period of two years, news reports claimed that he resigned apparently because of the differences with the board members.

Until a new CEO is appointed, Deputy CEO Mr Prithvi Shrestha is said to lead the bank.
