Jagdamba Motors Expands Commercial EV Lineup with Farizon and Chery Wanda at Mobility Expo 2025
Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Shanker Group, has entered the commercial EV segment in Nepal with brands like Farizon, Chery Wanda, and King Long, aligning with Nepal’s rising EV adoption trend. At the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, the company showcased new 14 to 19-seater electric vans designed for sustainable transport.
The Farizon 19-seater van, built under Geely, features a 170kW motor, 82.88kWh battery, advanced safety features, and a price starting at Rs. 76.9 lakhs. The Chery Wanda 14-seater microbus offers a 300 km range, a 53.58kWh battery, and is priced at Rs. 56.5 lakhs, making it ideal for daily commutes. Both models come with extended battery and motor warranties, aiming to provide reliable and cost-effective EV solutions for Nepal’s commercial transport sector.
