Israel to train 515 youth

KATHMANDU, Sept 21: A total of 515 youth have been selected from across the country to attend the Small Farmer Agricultural Trainee Program.
Under the program, which was launched by the Embassy of Israel and Sana Kisan Bikas Bank Ltd (SKBBL), Nepali youths are trained on advanced agricultural for sustainable agricultural entrepreneurship in different colleges and agriculture training centers in Israel.
According to SKBBL, the trainees were selected from Ilam, Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Udaypur, Saptari, Sirah, Dhanusa, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Sindhuli, Makwanpur, Chitwan, Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun, Nawalparasi, Rupandehi, Dang, Banke, and Bardiya districts.
Of them, 314 have already left for Israel, while the remaining will leave Nepal by October.
Meanwhile, 205 youth from eight districts of Nepal, who participated in different colleges and agriculture training centers in Israel, have returned to Nepal. According to the organizer, the students of the first phase of training have returned Nepal after the completion of the training program in Israel.
