IRGDD President Calls on Tourism Minister Paudel, Discusses Tourism Diplomacy

Amb. Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal paid a courtesy call on Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Khadak Raj Paudel at the ministry. Dr. Parajuli Dhakal heads the International Relations and Global Diplomacy Dialogue (IRGDD), Ambassadors Club Nepal, The Diplomat Nepal, and the Diplomatic Academy Nepal (DAN).

During the meeting, the two discussed the growing importance of tourism diplomacy in promoting Nepal's tourism sector, attracting investment, and strengthening the country's international presence. The conversation also focused on the need for research-based policymaking, innovation, digital transformation, and greater collaboration among government agencies and stakeholders to enhance Nepal's tourism competitiveness.

On the occasion, Dr. Parajuli Dhakal presented the latest editions of The Diplomat Nepal magazine to the minister, highlighting the publication's focus on diplomacy, public policy, tourism, investment, and Nepal's international relations.
