Iran’s Leader Khamenei Confirmed Killed in US-Israeli Strikes

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, was killed in Saturday’s joint US-Israeli strikes on Iran, the country’s state media confirmed.

According to BBC, Iran's Supreme National Security Council confirmed Khamenei’s killing early Saturday morning at his office “while he was carrying out tasks”.

A 40-day mourning period for the Iranian leader has been announced.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social platform that Khamenei was killed in the joint US-Israeli strikes, which began early on Saturday.

Khamenei, 86, ruled the country for approximately four decades.
