IPO Shares Listed: Samling Power Company (SPC) and Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI)

50,00,000 units IPO shares of Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) have been listed in NEPSE.

Samling Power Company Limited had issued 7,30,000 units worth Rs 7.3 crore as Initial Public Offering to the general public from (Kartik 4-8, 2078). This is 14.6% of the company's issued capital. Out of the offered 7,30,000 units; 2% of the total offered shares to the general public i.e. 14,600 units were set aside for the employees of the company and 5% for mutual funds. The remaining 678,900 units were for the general public.

The issue received applications from 21,88,778 valid applicants who had applied for a total of 2,50,96,070 units. The issue was oversubscribed by more than 36.96 times. As per the allotment module, a total of 67,890 applicants were allotted 10 units each via lottery, and the remaining 21,20,888 applicants returned empty hands. A total of 14,600 units were allotted to the staff of the company and 36,000 units were allotted to the mutual funds. In total 9,986 applicants who applied for 1,23,830 units were disqualified.

The Open Price Range is set as Rs. 98.77 to Rs. 296.31 for the first transaction.

Similarly, 1,50,00,000 unit IPO shares of Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI) have also been listed in NEPSE.

Nyadi Hydropower Limited issued 22,50,000 units worth Rs 22.5 crore as Initial Public Offering to the general public from (Ashwin 15-19, 2078). Out of the offered 22,50,000 units; 2% of the total offered shares to the general public i.e. 45,000 units were set aside for the employees of the company and 5% for mutual funds. The remaining 20,92,500 units were for the general public.

The issue received applications from 22,41,138 valid applicants who had applied for a total of 2,69,05,080 units. The issue was oversubscribed by more than 12.85 times. As per the allotment module, a total of 2,09,250 applicants were allotted 10 units each via lottery, and the remaining 20,31,888 applicants returned empty hands. A total of 45,000 units were allotted to the staff of the company and 1,12,500 units were allotted to the mutual funds. In total 10,442 applicants who applied for 1,41,040 units were invalid.

The Open Price Range is set as Rs. 94.13 to Rs. 282.39 for the first transaction.
