IPO Approved: Samling Power Company to Issue 12,30,000 Shares

Samling Power Company Limited has received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal for the IPO issuance of its shares.

The company has proposed to issue a total of 12.3 lakh unit shares to the locals and the general public via IPO in multiple phases. The first phase of the IPO will issue shares to the locals of the area.

Nepal SBI Merchant Banking will act as the issue manager for the proposed IPO issue. The hydropower company submitted an application to SEBON on Magh 05, 2077. The regulator then approved the proposal on Ashar 31, 2078.

The company has total equity of 50 lakh unit shares. Thus, the promoter and the public shareholding ratio will be 75.4: 24.6 after the public issue.
