Investors seem confused after yesterday's massive gain of 41.20 points; Index loses minimal 1.78 points but turnover surges

The NEPSE index closed at 1,645.67 points today, losing a minimal 1.78 points from yesterday's close. The index had opened at 1,661.64. Total volatility of 22.93 points was witnessed during market hours today, with the highest point being 1,663.41 and the lowest being 1,640.48.
10,365,607 shares traded hands via 41,909 transactions. 192 scrips traded to produce a total daily turnover of Rs. 3.03 Arba.
The Float index lost 0.2 points and closed at 115.16 while the Sensitive index is at 328.04 after gaining 0.27 points.
Prime Commercial Bank Limited (PCBL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 13.78 crores. The shares of Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited (SSHL) traded the most today. Today was the first trading day for the shares of Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited. It hit the 10% positive circuit on the first day itself.
The other scrip that technically hit a 10% positive circuit is Nepal Finance Limited (NFS).
Meanwhile, Nepal Investment Bank Limited Promoter Share (NIBPO) lost the most 3.97% today, followed by Sindhu Bikas Bank Limited (SINDU) that lost 3.61%.
Six sectors gained and six others closed red today. While Trading gained the most 1.37%, Manufacturing and Products lost the most 1.13%.
