Investor’s Forum gets new leadership; demands early operation of CDS, online trading

After a hiatus of three years, Nepal Investor’s Forum has unanimously elected a nine-member executive committee under the chairmanship of Raj Kumar Timilsina.
The sixth, seventh and eighth Annual General Meeting of the Investor’s Forum held in Kathmandu on Friday also appointed an advisory panel led by Dr Atma Ram Ghimire.
The other newly elected executives include Vice-chairman Rana Keshav Pradhan, General Secretary Bachchu Ram Rimal and Treasurer Durga Prasad Upreti.
Dipendra Agrawal, Ambika Prasad Poudel, Rajan Lamsal, Nalina Shrestha and Tulsi Ram Dhakal have also been elected unanimously as the executive members of the Forum.
Presenting his organizational report before the AGM, newly elected Chairman Timilsina urged the regulator and the other authorities concerned for the immediate operation of CDS and online trading.
