International honor for Mega Bank chief business officer

KATHMANDU, August 13:

Raveena Desraj Shrestha, chief business officer of Mega Bank Ltd, has bagged the ‘21st Century Golden Phoenix Award’.

Malaysia-based Asia Excellence Entrepreneur Federation presents the award to outstanding women entrepreneurs or professionals in Asia on the basis of evaluation of their work. The award will be handed over to Shrestha amid a ceremony in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia, on September 6, according to a statement on Wednesday. E-Planet Nepal had nominated Shrestha for the award.

“I’m very honored and privileged to have won this award. Having had a banking career of more than two decades, the award adds zeal to work much harder to achieve more success and work toward betterment of women and society as a whole,” the statement quoted Shrestha as saying.
