Integrated banking services in far west

KAILALI,JAN 6: 

Integrated banking branches are being established within this fiscal year in four districts of the far-western region. 

The banking branches would be established in Shahilek of Baitadi, Belauri of Kanchanpur, Dhangadhi of Kailali and Chainpur of Bajhang districts. According to regional office of the Agricultural Development Bank, Dhangadhi, Shahilek branch was recently opened while three other branches would be opened soon. 

Janak Raj Pandey of Agricultural Development Bank, Dhangadhi, said all kinds of banking services would be provided to the people from the integrated banking branches. Pandey said all branches of the Bank of the far western region would be upgraded as the integrated banking branch of the Bank. 

A regional office of the Bank, Agricultural Development Training Center and 21 branches of the Bank are providing services to the service recipients.Pandey said during the last fiscal year, the bank invested Rs 2.32 billion in loan while Rs 977 million was collected as deposit during the same period.
