inDrive’s “Rides For Goals” Campaign Transforms School Playgrounds in Kathmandu
inDrive, a global urban mobility platform, successfully completed its “Rides For Goals” campaign in Kathmandu during May. The initiative aimed to improve public primary school playgrounds and promote youth sports by donating 10% of every third ride’s fare to the cause.
The funds were used to renovate playground infrastructure and distribute sports kits, including basketballs, futsal balls, and badminton rackets, encouraging early physical activity and team-building skills among students.
Pavit Nanda Anand, APAC Communications Lead at inDrive, emphasized the company’s commitment to community empowerment, while Mark Tolley, Regional Director for Asia Pacific, highlighted how simple daily actions like booking a ride can lead to meaningful community impact. The campaign aligns with inDrive’s broader mission to promote social equity and positively impact underserved regions.
inDrive, operating in 888 cities across 48 countries, aims to improve the lives of one billion people by 2030. The campaign was supported by its non-profit arm, inVision, which focuses on education, sports, gender equality, and more.
