inDrive, a global mobility and urban services platform, has officially launched its operations in Nepal, aiming to provide fair and affordable transportation services.

The platform stands out from other ride-hailing services by allowing passengers and drivers to negotiate fares directly within the app. In Nepal, inDrive has implemented a low commission charge of 10% for drivers.

The platform's model emphasizes human interaction and gives users the freedom to choose or offer fares based on factors like vehicle model, driver rating, and arrival time. inDrive's launch in Nepal is seen as a significant addition to the local ride-hailing industry and includes partnerships with payment providers like IME Pay to enhance the payment experience.

In addition to cab and moto rides, inDrive also offers delivery services and city-to-city transportation. The platform ensures safety with features like live ride detail sharing and an SOS button. inDrive operates in 749 cities across 46 countries and aims to impact one billion people by 2030 through fair pricing and community empowerment programs via its non-profit arm, inVision.
