inDrive Marks 5 Years in Nepal with “Drive Without Pressure” Campaign Highlighting Driver Flexibility and Fair Earnings
inDrive has completed five years of operations in Nepal, reinforcing its driver-centric model focused on transparency, flexible working conditions, and fair earnings for the ride-hailing community.
To mark the milestone, the company launched a campaign titled “inDrive Sanga Afnai Rojaimaa Chaina Pressure” (“Drive Without Pressure”), running from June to August 2026. The campaign highlights the everyday experiences of drivers and promotes the platform’s flexible, negotiation-based fare system.
Operating on a peer-to-peer model, inDrive allows drivers and passengers to directly negotiate ride fares, giving drivers greater control over their schedules, ride choices, and income. The company says this approach supports autonomy and financial transparency for drivers in Nepal’s growing digital transport sector.
The campaign also includes the “Homecoming Meter” initiative, which shares stories of Nepali drivers who returned from foreign employment and rebuilt livelihoods through platform-based work opportunities. This aligns with broader discussions on labor migration, economic resilience, and domestic employment generation.
Overall, inDrive emphasizes Nepal as a key long-term market in South Asia, with continued focus on sustainable growth, community engagement, and expanding mobility services beyond ride-hailing.
