India provides Rs 366.72 m aid for embankment
KATHMANDU,June 18:
Indian Amabssador to Nepal Ranjit Rae handed over a cheque of Rs 366.72 million on Wednesday to Minister for Irrigation Narayan Prakash Saud as India´s contribution toward the construction of embankments along the Lalbakeya, Bagmati and Kamla rivers in Nepal.
The contribution was made as per the decision taken at the eighth Meeting of India-Nepal Joint Committee on Inundation and Flood Management, read the statement issued by Indian Embassy in Kathmandu.
