Index Gains 27.38 Points and Closes at 2,870.38; CCBL and UPPER Hit 10% Positive Circuit

The NEPSE index gained 27.38 points today and closed at 2,870.38. The index opened at 2,856.05 and made the intraday low at 2,835.51. It then bounced back to the intraday high of 2,882.62 and ultimately closed at 2,870.38.

20,974,377 shares traded hands via 82,055 transactions. The trading of 227 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 7.167 Arba.

While the float index gained 2.29 points and closed at 198.73, the Sensitive index is at 529.41 after gaining 3.76 points.

National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 40.7 crores.

Century Commercial Bank Limited (CCBL) and Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Limited (UPPER) have technically closed at the upper limit of 10% of the intraday gain.

Meanwhile, Gurkhas Finance Limited (GUFL) has lost the most 4.37%.

5 sectors lost and all others closed green today. While Finance lost the most 1.76%, Hydropower gained the most 2.76%.
