Index Bounces Back With 79.44 Points Gain; All Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index gained a massive 79.44 points today and closed at 2,913.84. The index opened at 2,844.7 and made the intraday low at 2,825.03. The index then closed at the intraday high of 2,913.84.

19,770,638 shares traded hands via 112,050 transactions. The trading of 225 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 10.286 Arba.

While the float index gained 5.69 points and closed at 201.36, the Sensitive index is at 536.34 after gaining 16.19 points.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 1.49 Arba. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 1.3 Arba.

More than two dozen companies have technically closed at the upper limit of 10% intraday gain today.

On the other side of things, Gurkhas Finance Limited (GUFL) lost the most 3.17% and closed at Rs. 1,220 per share.

All sectors have closed green today, with the Finance sector that gained the most 5.8%.
