Indecision Still Prevails in Market as NEPSE Loses Minimal 1.94 Points, Intraday Turnover Shrinks to Meager Rs. 2.278 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,732.51 today after losing 1.94 points from yesterday's closing. The index had lost 19.84 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,735.33 today and created the intraday low at 2,723,77. While it went as high as 2,744.94, it ultimately closed at 2,732.51.

227 scrips traded hands via 34,346 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 4,017,429 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.278 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 3.026 Arba.

Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Bittya Sanstha Ltd (JBLB) had the highest turnover of Rs. 22.37 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 4,960 per share. The shares of National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) traded the most.

Terhathum Power Company Limited (TPC) gained the highest 6.47% and closed at Rs. 625.

Meanwhile, Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) has lost the highest 4.02% and closed at Rs. 620.

Five sector indices have gained while eight others closed red. "Trading" gained the highest 0.43% while "Finance" lost the highest 0.46%.
