IME General Insurance Declares 6.316% Dividend for Fiscal Year 2078/79; Calls AGM on 9th Magh

IME General Insurance Limited (IGI) has called its 25th AGM on 9th Magh, 2079. The meeting will be held in Hotel Le Himalaya, Lazimpat, Kathmandu, starting at 11 AM.
Among the other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 6.316% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79. The company's 127th meeting of the board proposed a 6.316% dividend from the paid-up capital. The paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 1.70 Arba. 6% bonus shares worth Rs. 10,20,99,085 and 0.316% cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs 53.73 lakhs have been proposed.
Earlier the company had proposed a 6.84% dividend (6.50% bonus shares and 0.34% cash dividend) for the financial year 2078/79.
Furthermore, there is an agenda to endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports and appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2079/80.
The book closure date is from Poush 27 to Magh 06. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend this AGM.
