IGI Prudential's 26th AGM: Unveiling Commitment to Quality and Economic Growth

The 26th Annual General Meeting of IGI Prudential Insurance Limited (IGI) took place at Lainchaur Banquet, Kathmandu.

Chairman Hem Raj Dhakal highlighted the company's commitment to providing quality services, marking the successful merger of former IME General Insurance Ltd. and Prudential Insurance Company Ltd.

He emphasized the importance of large mega projects for economic activity and suggested creating an investment-friendly environment in sectors like mining, hydropower, agriculture, tourism, and information technology.

Mr. Dhakal stressed the role of insurance in economic development, urging awareness and stating the company's goal to increase customer satisfaction through customer-oriented services.

The meeting unanimously passed the annual report for the financial year 2079/80, and directors were elected for the next four years. Chairman Dhakal expressed gratitude to shareholders and government agencies for their support and valuable suggestions.
