IDEA Action of KU School of Management, Investment Circle & KUSOM Alumni ink MoU; to foster entrepreneurship among KU students

IDEA Action of KU School of Management, Investment Circle and KUSOM Alumni has signed MoU at a function to educate and indulge students of KUSOM on entrepreneurship and investment-related activities.

Further, the MoU paves the way to enable all three institutions to leverage each other’s’ strengths to foster entrepreneurship among KUSOM students as well as expand technical assistance to entrepreneurs associated with the institutions.

Prof Devi Prasad Bedari, Dean of KUSOM, remarked that the association will help raise interest amongst the KUSOM students and could lead to KUSOM being focal point of entrepreneurship in future, thereby making a significant impact in controlling brain drain from the country. Likewise, Mr. Dev Prakash Gupta, President of KUSOM Alumni, pointed the need to support wannabe entrepreneurs in technical skills along with networking and mentorship from seasoned businesspersons, which KUSOM Alumni was ready to facilitate.

With over a decade of practical experience in incubation & startup funding, Investment Circle clearly stands out in Nepalese startup ecosystem. With KUSOM’s theoretical base, Investment Circle’s practical approach and KUSOM Alumni’s vast network of alumni, the association is expected to build KUSOM into an entrepreneurship hub of the nation.
