ICRA Nepal Limited has withdrawn the issuer rating of Sanima Bank Limited and placed its subordinated debenture ratings on notice for withdrawal.
Despite being rated A- and LA-, indicating an adequate level of safety and low credit risk, the ratings carried a negative watch symbol (@), reflecting potential downward pressure. The agency clarified that ratings are only opinions on creditworthiness and not recommendations for investment decisions.
