ICRA Nepal Assigns Moderate Safety Rating to Oriental Insurance Limited

ICRA Nepal Limited has given Oriental Insurance Limited an issuer rating of [ICRANP-IR] BBB, indicating a moderate level of safety in meeting financial obligations and a moderate credit risk. The rating reflects the company’s overall creditworthiness and is not tied to any specific debt instrument.
ICRA Nepal also clarified that signs such as ‘+’ or ‘–’ can be added to ratings from AA to C to show their position within the category. For example, BBB+ is one level above BBB, while BBB– is one level below.
