ICAN Signs MoU with Manipal University Jaipur to Strengthen Accounting Education and Professional Development
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) has signed a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), India, to collaborate in accounting, auditing, taxation, and related fields. The partnership aims to enhance educational and professional excellence through joint teaching, research, skill development, resource sharing, and institutional networking.
The MoU, signed at ICAN’s headquarters in Lalitpur by ICAN Chairman Nil Bahadur Saru Magar and MUJ Chairperson Dr. Niti Nipun Sharma, will facilitate mutual recognition of qualifications, joint research, specialized educational modules, and exchange of faculty, experts, and students.
ICAN highlighted opportunities for members to pursue M.Com degrees at MUJ and future expansion into areas like AI, micro-learning, and other innovative educational technologies.
MUJ expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, offering guest lectures, one-year program discounts for ICAN members, and promoting meaningful academic exchanges. This collaboration is expected to provide substantial benefits in knowledge sharing, skill enhancement, and international competitiveness for both ICAN members and MUJ students.
