Nepal SBI Bank has issued an announcement about claiming the cash dividends and payback during the right share application.
For dividends distributed in AGM before FY 2070/ 71, those who claimed their dividend slip but did not cash them will have to claim their fund now. If investors got a fewer number of right shares than they had applied for during and after FY 2070/ 71, they are also requested to claim the partial payback of their fund. Also, anyone who hasn’t cashed their dividend slip or hasn’t received the slip altogether for dividend distributed during or after AGM of FY 2070/ 71 can also claim their respective amount.
Both the cash dividend and unclaimed fund from right shares will otherwise be directed to the Investors Protection Fund a month after today. Thus, investors will have to claim their fund before Bhadra 7, 2077.
Nepal SBI Bank has already deposited the cash dividend (which investors had not claimed till 5 years) in the Investors Protection Fund. Those who did not claim the dividend within 5 years from the date of the distribution will not get their dividend now.
